WELCOME TO EAST BUG

EaST BUG is a local non-profit community group dedicated to the promotion and use of bicycles as a means of transport within the South East region of Brisbane.

EaST BUG is a group open to all types of cyclists. Whether you consider yourself to be a recreational cyclist, commuter cyclist or even a professional cyclist, if you ride on the roads or cycleways on the EAST Side of Brisbane we have your cycling interests at heart. We want to ensure that your bicycle riding experience on the EAST side of town is an enjoyable, safe and convenient one.

From Brisbane to the Bay, if you ride or reside within the following council wards on the East side of Brisbane then why not consider becoming a part of this active friendly social group.

The Brisbane City Council wards that EaST BUG covers are - Chandler, Doboy, East Brisbane, Holland Park, Morningside, Wishart & Wynnum/Manly.

Bicentennial Bikeway Upgrade

Brisbane City Council is upgrading Bicentennial Bikeway between the Merivale Rail Bridge and the William Jolly Bridge.

Please find attached the fortnightly construction notification with details of upcoming works between Monday 17 October and Saturday 29 October 2011.
